Dr. Miller is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and provides the best care for our dog Tux. They are always willing to go the extra step to make sure we feel comfortable and understand all the different options for our senior pet. Can’t recommend enough!!

The most amazing care center ever I stopped by to see what kind of supplements they had because my pup was in pain with inflammation, and they seen him for free. He has horrible dental disease and they’ve worked with me thus far, unable to come up with the funds to get scheduling done though prayers please.

In November 2025, I took my cat, Tiggy, to Animal Care Center of Aurora for what was supposed to be a routine dental cleaning. The cleaning itself went well, but they sent us home with meloxicam and instructed us to give it to him twice a day for five days. By the third day, Tiggy became extremely lethargic and his lips turned white. We rushed him to the emergency veterinary hospital in Parker, where we were told he was in acute kidney failure. When the emergency veterinarian asked what medications he had been taking, we told them he had been prescribed meloxicam. They informed us that no cat should be receiving that much meloxicam, as repeated dosing at that level can be extremely dangerous and can cause kidney damage. Tiggy survived, but he now has permanent kidney damage and requires a prescription kidney diet for the rest of his life. What should have been a routine dental procedure nearly cost him his life.

I love this vet practice so much. They truly care about the wellbeing of my dog. My previous vet said he had a cracked tooth and needed an extraction. Animal Care Center of Aurora said his tooth looked fine but since I wanted a cleaning they always xray before a cleaning and would let me know if they see anything concerning. His teeth were fine. Each time I’ve gone back, they have never tried to upsell me on anything inappropriate. They have great ideas about what could be causing issues for my dog that could possibly fix the problem - my old vet never even tried to offer a solution for it. They have my loyalty!
